Arielle Condoret Schechter, AIA, is a licensed, registered architect based in Chapel Hill, NC, who specializes in Modernist, energy-efficient buildings with a focus on passive houses, Net Zero houses, and Micropolis® Houses,  the collection of modern, sustainable tiny house plans she designed. A “green” architect long before the concept became mainstream, Arielle’s work has been featured in numerous publications and on a host of design blogs. Most recently, Green Building & Design magazine named her the summer’ of 2020’s “Architect to Watch.” She is a lifelong environmentalist and animal advocate. She lives in Chapel Hill with her husband, Arnie, and an assortment of foster animals in a Modern house she designed.

Jay Fulkerson, Architect, PLLC, is a full-service architectural firm.  Jay has been a registered architect for over 35 years and has practiced in Chapel Hill, North Carolina since 1988, bringing a wealth of experience in sustainability and energy efficiency in design and construction.  His designs stress an attention to orientation with regards to the sun’s daily and seasonal path to create airy, natural light filled spaces that minimize energy expenses and material costs over the long term. Jenny Hoffman, owner and principal designer at J. Hoffman Studio, is a residential/commercial architectural designer and licensed general contractor.  Jenny is a member of the Durham, Orange, Chatham Home Builders Association High Performance Homes Council and has been featured as an innovative woman builder in the Triangle.  J.
